Retopo of base sculpt done in 3d Coat. 4796 tris before hair, tail, and armor (you didn't think she was gonna run around topless didya?). Way below budget. Working on painting in Zbrush now.

Centaur top sculpt done today

Yep, had some fun with the newest version of ZBrush. Damn there are a lot of new features. Its making it more and more practical to not use Maya at all for some stuff now.

Female Centaur WIP

I'm currently working on a female centaur for Arena of the Gods. These are some shots of the basemesh from Maya before I began sculpting in Zbrush. I took a model from a classmate, re-sculpted it for the horse bottom and stuck on a previously-modeled female basemesh.Yes, yes, I will probably deflate the boobs when it gets into Zbrush, haha!

WIP Gladiator Training Arena in Unity

I've got everything working the way I want it in Unity for the most part. I ended up having to create a few shaders that Unity didn't come with. That may sound like a big deal, but it was easy once I found the Strumpy Shader Editor. I recommend it as a must have if you want stuff to look nice in Unity Pro.

These are some in-game screenshots, that show some fun stuff including the FPS. I've optimized the level to run at 50-60 FPS with dynamic shadows and fire effects. I'm sure I will need the wiggle room, once the characters models start attacking each other with particle effects! I can't wait.

Gladiator Arena Environment Art WIP

Here is what I've been busy doing lately. It's a gladiator training arena for the upcoming game Arena of the Gods. We have a great team, but limited time so we're making the most of it by working hard. I'm testing some lighting in these renders.
